Much has changed since the opening year of Max and Moritz in 1902. Fortunately, a large part of the inventory has been preserved despite two world wars, which gives this inn its flair. Starting with the Wilhelminian style furniture, the wall reliefs, which illustrate the short life of the rascals Max and Moritz created by Wilhelm Busch, the finely lacquered blue-green wall tiles, the glass paintings and ironwork, to many Art Nouveau details and stucco work: all elements tell of the almost 120-year history of this famous restaurant and inspire our guests.
